Rethink Gravity In This Puzzle Adventure Game

Etherborn is a wondrous adventure video game that lets you see things from another perspective. You play as a voiceless being that has just been born into a strange and puzzling world. As soon as you awaken, you hear a bodiless voice calling out for you to find it—and thus starts your journey to find the meaning of your existence. A full-blown puzzle game making use of the entire environment to the player’s benefit, Etherborn encourages you to think outside of the box and reinvent the way you approach gravity

The World is 3D

Environmental puzzle platformers are nothing new. Some make use of colors and light in the surrounding area, while some actually incorporate the weather and such. In Etherborn, though, you need to think bigger in order to progress. There are no hidden object hunts here, where you must find the littlest of things. The alluring geometric world in the game is your oyster and you need to manipulate how you’ll traverse around it. This is where gravity comes into play. Etherborn is first and foremost a gravity puzzle game—you have to make use of gravity in order to solve puzzles. The law of gravity is perpendicular to the platform you’re on so there’s lots of ways to reach different areas. It’s going to be confusing at first but once you get the hang of it, the sky’s the limit in where you can go. There’s a lot to see in this beautifully surreal world and you'll be followed by such captivating music while you’re on your adventure. All in all, it’s such a challenging but immersive experience that puzzle game fans will surely appreciate.
